Meet our passionate Customer Success team! Get a peak into who they are, and what customer success means to them!
In the age of self-service, Cadence believes deeply in creating opportunities to foster more human connections. While this is certainly a core value for our whole company, our Customer Success team puts it into practice every day with our customers. Our team aims to arm our customers with the necessary tools to ensure that they get the most out of their Cadence experience.
Something we’ve been hearing from customers is that there is a lack of customer support in the event management software industry. And with the major shift to virtual events, which can often be confusing and stressful, it makes them feel like they are left high and dry with no idea where to go next! Well, rest-assured, that will not be your experience with Cadence.
Our Customer Success team works proactively to anticipate questions and pain points, so we can provide you with relevant resources and solutions before you’re even aware you need them. And if you need an extra hand, don’t sweat it! Our team can also work with you every step of the way, guiding you through the planning process to deliver an exceptional event experience.

To give you a peak into the passion our Customer Success team holds, we asked each member, “What does Customer Success mean to you?” and they gave us some real gems! So, without further ado, we’d like to introduce you to our CSMs! 🤗
Arielle Smith, Customer Success Director
Arielle was promoted to Customer Success Director this year, after having been a Customer Success Manager with Cadence since 2017. She has worked within the events & technology industry for over six years. Arielle comes from a large, extended, “dinner-every-Sunday-night,” family. She loves exploring new places, and cleaning (yes, cleaning!). She’s not on board with pineapple 🍕, but pretty much anything else is fair game!
Sarah Shaddock, Customer Success Manager
Sarah has been a Customer Success Manager at Cadence since its birth in 2017. She has been in the industry for over six years and really values relationships of any kind. Sarah is notorious for cracking dad jokes, lives for a good pun, and doesn’t take herself too seriously. To her friends, she is the one to lift you up and be your biggest cheerleader! But don’t get her wrong, she was in the marching band in school! (This one time… at band camp 😉)
Christina Gerber, Customer Success Manager
Christina has been with Cadence in a hybrid role of Customer Success and Product Manager since the summer of 2018. She has had many years of experience in building enterprise software platforms but having the opportunity to shape the Cadence events platform is by far her most interesting job yet! Christina is a German transplant, so, needless to say, she loves punctuality, efficiency, traditions, and of course – beer 🍺. She always loves a good challenge. No wonder she has lived in various countries (all on her own) on 3 different continents over the past years. Her favorite by far being Melbourne, Australia.
Brooke White, Customer Success Manager
Brooke started working for Cadence as a Customer Success Manager in February of 2019. Before that, she had always had more customer focused roles. Since joining Cadence, she has been able to grow and expand her knowledge in the events & technology industry. Brooke is an outgoing person through-and-through. Her love for her family and friends can only be exceeded by her immense passion for red wine🍷. Fortunately, she loves nothing more than sharing that wine with the people closest to her.
Marie Cavataio, Customer Success Manager
Marie has been a Customer Success Manager at Cadence since January 2020, though she has been working within the events & technology industry since 2015. Marie loves spending time with her family in North Carolina, especially her adorable dog, Jake. She is the ultimate Mets fan (yes, you can feel sorry for her), she loves to puzzle, and she has never turned down a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie! 🍪
Brittany Herbott, Customer Success Manager
Brittany just started with Cadence in July. She has a background in fashion and has always been interested in helping customers. As the fashion industry and events industry are closely related, she is very excited about this next “turn” in her career path. Some of her favorite things are basketball 🏀, being outdoors, and her own carrot cake from scratch (with cream cheese frosting, of course). She dreams about traveling the world and can’t wait for those dreams to come true with Cadence.
Niko Ruiz, Customer Success Coordinator
Niko just started at Cadence in a Customer Success Coordinator role. He was born and raised in New Mexico and has a passion for human rights. One day, he hopes to start a program that helps LGBTQ+ youth move out of homelessness. Niko would love to be your friend, if you don’t mind re-watching shows and movies over and over. In fact, he confessed that he has probably re-watched RuPaul’s Drag Race seasons 1-11 about 3-5 times each! 😮
Cash Roberson, Customer Success Coordinator
Cash also just started with Cadence in a Customer Success Coordinator role. And while she loves making human connections, she couldn’t say the same for animals until just recently! She was actually terrified of dogs for her whole life until last year, when she met her boyfriend and his dog, Tex! And for the sake of being transparent, there was a sandwich that she cropped out of the bottom of this picture! But, seriously, who doesn’t love a good sandwich? 🥪
