Leveraging Platform Partnerships as a Key to Your Event’s Success: Techsytalk GLOBAL
Imagine this. You’re craving for some warm, moist sticky toffee pudding. Now, a good sticky toffee doesn’t come by very easily. On top of that, you also want the best vanilla bean ice cream to compliment your pudding to make for the perfect dessert. Turns out, the two best places to get each dessert are in opposite locations, and there doesn’t really seem like a way to get both.
But wait! A new restaurant just around the corner opened, and what do they have?! Sticky toffee pudding a la mode! 🤤
Now, what does dessert have anything to do with partnerships? You can think of Cadence like the restaurant serving up the sticky pudding a la mode – somewhere you can service your wants and needs, all in one place.
There are many platforms out there that are reluctant to use third party tools, making it harder for customers to get what they need. We think it should be the opposite. There are unique experiences that not every event tool will be able to offer. By trying to do it all, companies are losing out on the opportunity to deliver the best in the business to their customers.
Platform integrations solve this problem, and they’re imperative to Cadence’s success. Working with our partners enables Cadence to power smooth and efficient events to our customers, all housed under one platform at a reasonable cost.
This was vital a key factor for Liz King Caruso’s latest event this month, techsytalk GLOBAL, a world class event centered around discussing, discovering, and implementing avant-garde event tech solutions and ideas for event planners who are OBSESSED with delivering the most rewarding event experience.
Powering a global event requires understanding specific audience needs, so you can tailor the experience to them. techsytalk set out to do so without a heavy lift and sumptuous cost, and our platform integrations allowed them to do just that. Here are the 3 software integrations that their team used to elevate their global event experience.
1. Engamio
To keep up the engagement, techsytalk used Engamio, an easy-to-use platform with a range of gamified engagement and sponsorship solutions for event types of all kinds. They even included a puzzle of the Cadence Team for attendees to solve, alongside a little story of how our company was founded. On top of this, the two teams set up a word search through the sessions and rewarded both the game’s winners with a small prize.
2. Wordly
If you’re a Cadence blog enthusiast, you might recognize this name from a few of our other articles – but we can’t help it! They’re pretty fantastic. The techsytalk team turned to Wordly, So global attendees could access the stream of high quality content in the language of their choice. Wordly leverages AI powered translation software that provides real-time close captioning in 15 different languages. And the best part is that it’s directly integrated into Symphony, our in-house presentation platform.
3. twine
Networking at a virtual event? We know, it’s not quite the same as face-to-face interactions and can often feel quite hopeless. But not to fear, twine is here! techsytalk used twine to empower their attendees to network with intention. In between Symphony sessions, attendees were automatically grouped into smaller breakout sessions and had around 5-10 minutes to chat with guided questions and fun virtual background options. twine also made it easy to connect with each other afterwards with a simple click of a button.
techsytalk GLOBAL ran for 2 days, receiving nearly 900 attendee registrations in 29 countries and 99 cities. 🤯 The event featured 25 speakers, 10 interactive breakout sessions and 10+ innovative sponsors who had smart integrations within Cadence.
As the old saying goes, “no (wo)man is an island” (we may have changed it up a little bit 😉 ). We couldn’t do what we do without amazing partners like Liz King Caruso, and platform partners like Wordly, twine, and Engamio.
